Health, Safety and Environment Advisor

We are seeking a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional to join our team as an advisor. The role will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of HSSE programs across various sites within the region.

The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with up to 4 years of offshore experience. They must possess formal HSE qualifications and have site experience with HSE supervisory exposure.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coaching onsite supervisors and teams to implement HSSE programs effectively.
  • Assessing the embedding of HSE agenda focus areas against Shell Wells requirements.
  • Developing systematic and practical action plans to close any gaps.
  • Training, mentoring, advising and assisting site personnel in implementing required action items.
  • Providing safety guidance and support to site managers, superintendents and supervisors on day-to-day safety matters.
  • Ensuring all HSE activities required by the Wells or Business Improvement Plan are implemented on site.
  • Presenting at site HSE meetings to facilitate sharing of best practices and learnings.
