Regional Practice Leader Position

The Regional Practice Leader is a key role within the department, responsible for leading and supporting capacity building of staff in the region. This includes providing leadership and advice to Child Safety Service Centres on trauma-informed, culturally strong child protection practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support capacity building of staff in the region.
  • Provide high-level advice to senior team leaders, managers, senior practitioners, directors, and regional directors on complex practice matters in the delivery of effective and quality child protection services.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends and issues, consider systemic issues and the relationship between multiple performance measures in terms of the impact on service to clients.
  • Support and implement strategic departmental activities to enhance outcomes for children and young people, parents, and families within the child protection system.
Delegations:

This role has financial and HR delegations.
