Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team in the Shellharbour area. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers
  • Assisting with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating habits
  • Offering social support and transportation to lifestyle activities, helping to combat loneliness and isolation
Key Responsibilities

In addition to the above duties, the successful candidate will also be expected to:

  • Work closely with our customers and their families to understand their needs and preferences
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and care plans
  • Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle
  • A strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support to our elderly customers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
