Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in the Shellharbour area. As a Home Care Worker with KinCare, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our customers, providing essential support and care to enable them to live independently at home.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and household tasks, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers' nutritional needs are met.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay engaged and connected with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' independence.
  • Offer respite and emotional support, providing comfort and reassurance to our customers when they need it most.
  • Transport customers to appointments and provide complex care for those with high care needs, such as dementia.

Requirements

  • A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle – travel is an essential part of this role.
  • The ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for help from your Manager.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required.
