Weekend Clinical Dietitian

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Weekend Clinical Dietitian to join our team. As a key member of our nutrition department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nutrition services to our patients.

In this role, you will work independently to assess, treat, and manage clients throughout the continuum of care in the most appropriate location based on their needs. You will also provide timely and effective clinical management to all patients through assessment, treatment/management, re-evaluation, documentation, team liaison, and discharge planning.

The ideal candidate will possess qualifications providing eligibility for full membership of DAA and the APD program, along with a minimum of two years' post-graduate experience in a relevant field of clinical dietetics. Strong prioritizing, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities, are essential for success in this position.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Assess, treat, and manage clients throughout the continuum of care
  • Provide timely and effective clinical management to all patients
  • Maintain current knowledge and skills in clinical best practice of clinical units assigned
  • Establish, develop, and maintain strong and positive working relationships within relevant care teams, referral sources, participating agencies, and other service providers
