Job Title: Dietitian Grade 2

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our team at Epworth HealthCare, a renowned private healthcare group in Melbourne, Australia.

  • Promoting and providing dietetic and nutritional intervention across various wards and services is an essential aspect of this role.
  • The successful candidate will possess well-developed expertise in providing evidence-based treatment, including assessment, intervention, discharge planning and risk management to patients and family/carers.
  • An experienced professional will be required to provide and develop appropriate nutrition education for groups.
  • This role involves working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care using a patient-centred approach.
  • The Dietitian will actively participate in quality activities ensuring opportunities for improvement are explored and best practice is achieved.
  • Demonstrating empathy and compassion while encouraging patient participation in all stages of care is crucial.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience working in a hospital setting.
  • Well-developed time management, prioritisation and communication skills.
  • The ability to work with stakeholders to deliver excellent patient care and outcomes.
  • A quality and risk focused approach to clinical practice, patient care and decision making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, using Word, Excel and Teams.
