Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Coordinator to join our team at the Springvale Colliery. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to build a rewarding career in the mining industry.

As a Shift Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our continuous miner and Longwall operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating engineering services and maintenance activities
  • Leading and supporting the engineering team to execute planned activities
  • Assisting the site to reach and maintain production targets
  • Ensuring statutory compliance through inspections and reporting
  • Supporting commitment to a high level of internal safety standards and team culture
Requirements:

Successful candidates will have formal Engineering or trade-based qualifications, previous experience in a similar Engineering coordination role, and a strong commitment to safety, operational practices, and mine production targets.

Candidates should also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, an organised and reliable work ethic, and personal drive and problem-solving skills.
