Manufacturing Manager Night Shift

The Role:

You will have the opportunity to take ownership of night-to-night operations. This includes hitting production targets, championing safety and quality practices, and staff management.

You'll be the one driving root cause analysis when problems crop up, coaching the team through challenges, and embedding consistent, effective processes across the night shift. Think of this as part firefighter, part coach, part strategic operator, all rolled into one.

This is a hands-on leadership role, not a desk job. You'll be running the show across the night shift operations, overseeing manufacturing, people, processes, and quality, and playing a key role in shaping the future growth and capacity of the night shift. It's a big job, but if you've led night shift in fast-paced FMCG environments before, you'll thrive here.

What Does Day to Day Look Like:

Reporting to the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Lead you will be accountable for the below:

Directing Team Leaders, trades and operators in their designated activities

Ensure efficiencies are at their highest to meet production and quality targets

SOP, QA and QC document management and compliance

Setting and communicating KPI and performance expectations to staff

Constant focus on continuous improvements

Upholding the highest expectations of safety in the workplace

Track and trace any noncompliance and provide solutions to rectify issues

Your Background:

You've done this before, led night shift teams ideally in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environments. You're well-versed in warehousing, production, food safety and compliance.

You're a strong communicator who can coach frontline staff and influence internal stakeholders. You're not afraid of a challenge and know how to turn inefficiencies into opportunities.

Experience with implementing HACCP frameworks and have hands-on experience working under GFSI-accredited standards like SQF, BRC or FSSC is highly desirable as well.
