We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our afternoon shift operations at a major distribution centre.

This role involves managing a team of 20-25 employees and ensuring the efficient distribution of goods. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in continuous improvement processes.

The ideal candidate will be able to foster a high-performing culture, drive process efficiency, and maintain effective relationships with other departments.

About This Role
  • Job Summary: Lead the afternoon shift team at a major distribution centre.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage the distribution centre's PM operations
    • Ensure delivery in full and on time through effective labour resourcing, fleet allocation, and customer service
    • Continually evaluate and improve warehouse efficiency using continuous improvement tools and methodologies
    • Implement new technologies, processes, and policies to enhance overall warehouse efficiency
    • Maintain a zero-harm environment
  • Requirements:
    • Strong leadership skills
    • Excellent communication abilities
    • Experience in continuous improvement processes
    • Able to build effective relationships with other departments
