Disability Support Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to work with a client living with cerebral palsy. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support tailored to the needs of the client, including assisting with daily living activities, facilitating social outings, and encouraging independence.

This is a casual role with the potential for ongoing work and additional clients. Shifts are available morning and evening, with flexibility essential.

About the Position

- Location: Heidelberg West VIC
- Type: Casual
- Shifts: Morning and evening shifts available - flexibility is essential
- Pay: Competitive hourly rate under a TFN arrangement - no need to worry about tax time headaches, and you'll have full workplace protections and superannuation contributions.

What We're Looking For

- Experience working with people with physical disabilities (experience with cerebral palsy highly regarded)
- Ability to manage complex needs while maintaining a calm, positive approach
- Strong communication skills to build trust and rapport
- Interest in music - and if you can play an instrument, that's a huge bonus
- Flexibility to work both morning and evening shifts to meet the client's needs

Qualifications (Highly Valued)

- Cert III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or related field
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
