Support Worker Position

The Opportunity

We are seeking reliable, committed, and empathetic individuals to join our team as Support Workers. As a key member of our team, you will provide assistance to our clients, making a positive impact in their lives.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A can-do attitude and genuine interest in helping others
  • Variety of hobbies such as sewing, arts, gardening, cooking, and scrapbooking
  • Experience in outdoor pursuits and activities
  • Practical understanding of hygiene assistance and commitment to care
  • Enjoyment in social activities and one-on-one engagement
  • Understanding of physical limitations and a safe approach
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, sensitivity, and emotional stability
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

Additionally, you should possess:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Community Services, or equivalent
  • A current National Police Certificate
  • A valid driver's license and your own, reliable vehicle
  • Physically capable of meeting the requirements of the role
  • A current First aid Certificate
  • Smart phone and internet access
