About the Role

This Casual Disability Support Worker position is designed to empower individuals with physical and/or psychosocial disabilities (mental health) to live independently, confidently, and with dignity.

  • Our team supports participants with daily tasks, social engagement, and community participation.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, enjoy meeting new people, and be reliable, self-motivated and have a commitment of at least 12 months to ensure consistent client care.

  • Daily Living Assistance - Shopping, attending medical appointments, meal prep, and light household tasks.
  • Community Participation - Supporting clients in social settings (walks, events, café outings).
  • Life Skills & Independence - Assisting with tasks like Centrelink, paying bills, or housing searches.
  • Health & Wellbeing - Encouraging physical activity (gym, outdoor exercise).
  • Home & Lifestyle Support - Light cleaning, gardening, or other tasks supporting independent living.
Your Qualifications

We require:

  • Legitimate Certifications - Disability, Individual Support, or Mental Health. First Aid & CPR, Manual Handling Training. Working with Children Check & NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Highly Desirable: Relevant qualifications in psychology, social work, disability, mental health, or counselling.
