About the Role

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in people's lives and help them live independently.

As a Support Worker, you will provide support with daily living tasks, enabling individuals to live a holistic life. Your work will be centered around providing assistance with everyday activities, personal care, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment.

You will also assist with medication compliance, which may include dispensing prescription medication, and provide meal assistance, including meal preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with personal care, including toileting and showering
  • Accompany individuals on outings and participate in activities outside the home environment
  • Administer medication as required, under the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional
  • Prepare and serve meals, taking into account individual dietary needs

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience working as a Disability Support Worker, with complex care experience highly regarded
  • NDIS Clearance
  • First Aid and CPR certifications
  • National police clearance or willingness to obtain
  • Able to work a range of shifts, including morning, afternoon, night, and sleepovers
