Support Worker Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the wellbeing of people living with disabilities or mental health care needs.

Job Description

A Support Worker is responsible for assisting participants to live more independently and reach their NDIS goals. This involves:

  • Assisting with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and food preparation
  • Facilitating daily tasks such as home based chores, therapy support, and community access
  • Providing emotional support and friendship

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Relevant qualifications including Certificate III or higher in Health Service Assistance/Individual Support/Aged Care/Community
  • NDS worker screening clearance
  • Valid police check and working with children's check
