Our ideal candidate will lead the strategic and operational aspects of both gym and retail facets of locations across South Australia.

About the Role:

The State Gym and Retail Manager will be responsible for leading and optimising the performance of Ryderwear's gym and retail operations across all South Australia locations, ensuring brand consistency and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and optimise the performance of Ryderwear's gym and retail operations across all South Australia locations.
  • Drive sales growth by developing and implementing innovative strategies, merchandising techniques, and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with Gym Managers to ensure seamless integration between retail and gym operations, enhancing the overall member experience.
  • Provide expert guidance on visual merchandising, store layout, and product assortment to maximise sales and customer engagement.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, provide on-site training, and implement best practices in management.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth, product development, and inventory management.
  • Foster a culture of excellence in customer service, ensuring high standards of service and product knowledge among staff.
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to align strategies with overall brand initiatives and product launches.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in multi-site retail or fitness operations management, with a focus on store development, sales growth, and visual merchandising.
  • Proven track record of improving environments and achieving targets within a fitness, apparel, or lifestyle brand.
  • Leadership skills to mentor and motivate teams across gym and retail operations.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends, translating them into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively at all levels.
  • Passion for the fitness industry, with understanding of activewear market and consumer behaviour.
  • Flexibility to travel between SA locations and adapt to dynamic work environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
