Job Title: Operational Director

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operational Director to lead our team at Qube. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of safe working practices, promoting effective safety policies and procedures, and fostering a collaborative team environment focused on achieving operational objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent planning and problem-solving skills, proven business acumen, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. They will also exhibit strong leadership qualities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a flexible attitude with adaptability in a dynamic setting.

The role involves leading a team, driving continuous improvement of systems and processes, understanding and adhering to all relevant policies and procedures, and building relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement safe working practices and promote safety policies and procedures on an ongoing basis
  • Support labour resources to meet workload forecasts and departmental objectives on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Foster a collaborative team environment focused on working together to achieve operational and strategic objectives
  • Lead, motivate, and engage staff through effective people management processes and practices, building their capability to achieve operational and individual objectives
