- Manage commercial contracts to financial close by ensuring each condition precedent has been met.
- Collaborate with Commercial Managers, Legal Counsel, Risk, and Treasury to provide vital transactional support.
- Coordinate transactions involving complex deal structures to financial close and settlement.
- Ensure clear audit trail of decisions.
- Manage risk approvals for waivers or variations.
- Proactively engage with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure alignment and deal execution success.
The role requires 3-5 years' experience in financial close that involved aspects such as debt & equity structuring, legal negotiation, and base rate setting within property or infrastructure finance products. A strong understanding of finance agreements and loan documentation is also necessary, along with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. The ideal candidate will be organised and proactive, able to work in a fast-paced environment managing competing priorities.
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines are essential, as well as strong relationship management skills and superior written, verbal, and negotiation skills. Relevant tertiary qualifications including Law, Accounting, Business or Finance are also required.
