Voluntary Non-Executive Director Opportunity

We are seeking expressions of interest for a voluntary non-executive director to join our leadership team.

About Us

Multitask Human Resource Foundation Ltd is a charity registered with the ACNC and has been supporting people with disabilities in the Northern Rivers for over 70 years.

We empower people living with a disability to live rich and meaningful lives in an inclusive community.

Role Overview

The Board is responsible for the overall strategic direction and works with management in setting strategies for the organisation.

The person we are seeking will have:

  • a commitment to community service and the for purpose sector;
  • an understanding of operating in regional areas;
  • an understanding of and experience in governance;
  • ability to relate to a diverse group of stakeholders;
  • a willingness to help lead and grow the organisation in a sound, diligent, caring and sustainable way.

We are interested in people who have a diverse range of qualifications, skills and experiences including those with legal or ITC backgrounds, but that is not essential.

Key Responsibilities

Board meetings are conducted monthly, usually from 5:30pm on a weekday in Lismore NSW and with teleconference facility plus a one day strategy session twice a year.

If you live or work in Lismore or Northern NSW that would be great but it's not essential.

Appointment terms are for 3 years with the option of further terms.
