Clinical Manager

As a Clinical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our centres across Tweed Heads, Lismore, and Ballina in delivering youth mental health services. Your leadership expertise will be instrumental in shaping the delivery of high-quality care and support to young people.

About the Role:
  • Provide clinical guidance and supervision to a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals.
  • Oversee clinical governance, accreditation, and continuous service improvement initiatives that enhance our services and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and legislative requirements through rigorous monitoring and implementation of best practices.
  • Lead the delivery of evidence-based interventions and a stepped model of care that prioritizes the needs of young people.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships with funding bodies, community partners, and universities to foster collaboration and mutual understanding.
  • Mentor and develop clinical staff and placement students, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within our organisation.
  • Act as Site Manager, ensuring safe environments and consistent incident and emergency responses that uphold our commitment to excellence.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in psychology, mental health nursing, or social work (with mental health accreditation) are essential for this role.
  • Current professional registration with AHPRA or AASW is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience supervising a multidisciplinary team in mental health, ideally within youth services, is required.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health trends, stepped care, and service delivery models is critical for success in this position.
  • Skills in clinical supervision, mentoring, and workforce support are essential for effective leadership.
  • Experience in child protection legislation and practices is highly valued.
  • Proven ability to implement innovative solutions, manage complex challenges, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders is essential for this role.
