We are seeking a skilled Senior Civil Designer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and modeling infrastructure projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design platforms.

  • You will prepare high-quality design drawings and presentation models, collaborate closely with engineers and designers to deliver integrated solutions, and lead or assist with AI and automation initiatives in the CAD workflow.
  • Your responsibilities will also include contributing to drafting standards and QA processes, assisting in mentoring junior staff, and championing new technologies.
  • You will deliver accurate, timely outputs – from BoQs to detailed 3D models – and contribute to the development of innovative design solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil design, especially in mining infrastructure (dams, earthworks, stormwater, roads, landfills, cover systems), strong proficiency with Autodesk AEC Collection tools, particularly Civil 3D and AutoCAD, and familiarity with QGIS, Global Mapper, Civil Site Design and Muk3D.

You will also have experience or a strong interest in AI-powered design tools and scripting, excellent attention to detail, a solutions-oriented mindset, a collaborative approach, and strong communication skills.
