Eye Care Professional Wanted

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill a key role in our ophthalmology practice. The ideal candidate will display a professional and welcoming manner, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Orthoptists and Ophthalmologists with duties and surgical bookings, with experience in an ophthalmology setting preferred but training provided for the right candidate.
  • Register patients on arrival, manage billing and appointments, and handle phone enquiries efficiently.
  • Triage emergencies, perform medical typing and administrative tasks, and contribute to maintaining a clean and efficient working space.
Desirable Skills:
  • Familiarity with medical billing and rebates, as well as orthoptic Workup skills including patient screening and testing using various equipment.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, at our Sydney location.
