Team Manager Motor Claims

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to lead our Motor Claims team at RACQ. As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for providing strong leadership and direction to meet operational performance goals and engagement objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the Motor Claims team to achieve operational performance goals and engagement objectives.
- Take charge of day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient claims handling, maintaining quality standards, and delivering exceptional member experiences.
- Effectively manage priorities, create focus, support capability development, and remove barriers to ensure the team achieves desired outcomes.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives and maintain collaborative relationships with relevant stakeholders.
- Lead by example in fostering a positive workplace culture that aligns with RACQ Values.
About You
We are looking for a skilled leader with at least 2-5 years of relevant experience in leading a large team. Ideally, you will have:
- Strong leadership and a high level of proven ability to motivate staff to achieve personal and business objectives.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying, creating, developing, and maintaining effective relationships.
- Member-focused mindset, high empathy, and service delivery are a must.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Experience in managing Risk and Compliance.
- High complaints awareness with passion for reducing unnecessary escalations.
- Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to cope with varying changes, workloads, and pressures.
