About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Commis Chef to join our culinary team at Parmelia Hilton Perth. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the creation of innovative and contemporary dishes, including special menus that showcase our restaurant's unique flavor profiles.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality control in the pastry kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to maintain a safe, happy, and productive work environment.
  • Contribute to the control of costs and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of current food trends and menu planning.
About You
  • Australian working rights are required.
  • Preferably based in the Perth Metropolitan Area.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and late evenings.
  • A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated previous experience in a similar role.
  • A current, valid, and relevant trade patisserie qualification.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
