Job Summary:

Ventia, a leading infrastructure services company, is seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join their team at a major Defence facility. As a key member of the infrastructure services team, you will be responsible for providing plumbing trade activities to install, maintain, repair, replace, and ensure the integrity and performance of equipment and facilities within the contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform plumbing trade activities to install, maintain, repair, replace, and ensure the integrity and performance of equipment and facilities within the contract.
  • Ensure that ongoing maintenance tasks are appropriately planned and executed in accordance with state regulations, including determining task priorities and creating appropriate support documentation.
  • Diagnose problems and perform work of a technical nature on plumbing systems.
  • Be proactive in addressing customer complaints and demonstrate competence in establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients.
  • Perform work in a safe manner, abiding by Defence and Ventia's legislative safe work procedures, instructions, and safety management practices.
  • Observe quality and technical procedures, work instructions, and practices.

Requirements:

  • A current VIC Plumbing licence
  • Water Licence
  • Sanitary Licence
  • Drainage Licence
  • Backflow Licence - Desirable
  • Gas Fitter – Desirable
  • White Card
