Your Responsibilities

  • Expertise in setting up jigs, marking, bending, and fabricating piping systems
  • Skilled in utilizing workshop equipment, including hydraulic benders and threading machines
  • Experience in diverse naval vessel settings
  • Providing mentorship to apprentices and fostering a collaborative team atmosphere focused on innovation

Your Qualifications

  • Essential Certificate III in Plumbing
  • Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding; Certificate III in Welding/Fabrication is advantageous
  • Certifications in Forklift operation, Dogman, working at heights, and confined spaces are beneficial
  • Strong commitment to safety with exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in ship repair or heavy industry is highly regarded
