Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Handy Person to join our team at Pier One Sydney Harbour Autograph Collection. As a Handy Person, you will be responsible for performing maintenance services and repairs in various areas of the hotel, including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and repairing hotel equipment and assets.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and perform repairs as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining the hotel's facilities, including the boiler system, pumps, ventilation systems, and plumbing.
  • Ensure that all maintenance work is performed in accordance with the hotel's preventive maintenance procedures and standard guidelines.
  • Assist in maintaining the hotel's Energy Management System (EMS) and other building components.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
