Your Responsibilities

  • Expertise in setting up jigs, marking, bending, and fabricating piping systems
  • Skilled in operating workshop equipment, including hydraulic benders and threading machines
  • Experience in diverse naval vessel settings
  • Providing mentorship to apprentices and fostering a collaborative team atmosphere centered on innovation

Candidate Profile

  • Mandatory Cert III Plumbing qualification
  • Competence in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, with Cert III Welding/Fabrication certification being advantageous
  • Preferred qualifications include Forklift, Dogman, working at heights, and confined spaces certifications
  • Strong commitment to safety and exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Valuable experience in ship repair or heavy industry is highly regarded
