About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Product Manager to lead the technical direction for product development and drive the development and performance of our hardware products.

The successful candidate will have a focus on enhancing features, localization, and lifecycle management, working closely with design and engineering teams to deliver feature development that meets both customer and market demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and prioritize customer and internal needs to drive feature development and resolve pain points effectively.
  • Utilize technical skills to monitor field performance and manage data on deployed units, ensuring metric-based decision making for product lifecycle management, roadmaps, and EOL strategies.
  • Balance commercial and client needs to achieve win-win outcomes in product development, considering the total hardware ecosystem within the restaurant space.
  • Work closely with tech, design, and business development teams to support RFPs and ensure alignment with marketing to create sellable products.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on products, attending industry events to stay ahead of market trends, and maintaining a strong understanding of vertical needs in the restaurant space.
  • Own and manage tools to track product development, releases, and performance, ensuring investments are directed towards areas with the highest strategic value.
  • Focus on understanding the cost to serve, build, and total cost of ownership (TCO), thinking beyond single products to the entire hardware ecosystem.
