About this Role
  • Assess economic value and risk potential of new business opportunities across Melbourne's eastern suburbs.
  • Provide expert advice on business options and risk management strategies to drive growth and deliver fully integrated banking services.
  • Identify and leverage networks of internal and external contacts to foster referral opportunities and support customer acquisition.
  • Implement targeted initiatives to drive customer growth in local markets.
  • Work closely with customers to develop and execute annual business plans.
  • Prepare and submit high-quality lending proposals with the support of our associate team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in business banking and/or credit assessment, with a strong track record of delivering client banking solutions.
  • Previous experience in accounting, legal, insurance broking, insolvency, financial planning, finance broking, and real estate is highly advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of business and commercial practices, with a focus on sales, lending, credit assessment, and control.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Commitment to a strong risk culture and conduct compliance risk.
  • Passion for customer service and driving customer advocacy, with excellent communication skills.
