
Veterans Support Advocate

Our new Outreach Program Coordinator will play a vital role in enhancing the ability to identify and respond to vulnerable veterans by utilizing a strengths-based approach.
The successful candidate will collaborate with management and staff to coordinate the Outreach Program, ensuring high-quality clinical outreach services are delivered to eligible clients in rural and outer metropolitan areas. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing referrals and documentation
- Providing information and support to contracted service providers
- Informing Open Arms staff of national and region procedure updates
- Maintaining a database of Open Arms contracted counsellors
To succeed in this role, you'll need qualifications as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, or Nurse with mental health experience. Additionally, you must have current registration with AHPRA or AASW, and Working with Children Checks/Clearance held and maintained while employed.
