Job Title: Senior Marine Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced senior marine officers to support our offshore vessels across various regions. These are casual positions with a rotating roster for 4 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the master in navigating and operating the vessel.
  • Utilize expertise in winch operations, particularly on AHTS and/or PSV offshore vessels.
  • Lead emergency response operations and support crew members in safety drills.
  • Maintain adherence to the company's safety management system and policies.
  • Act as the designated dynamic positioning operator and manage associated duties.
  • Promote accurate and up-to-date navigation logbooks.
  • Oversee vessel stability, trim, and fuel management.
  • Foster training and development among the deck crew.
  • Facilitate effective communication between the bridge and engineering teams for enhanced operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Hold a current chief officer DP unlimited certificate of competency.
  • Possess current or prior experience as chief officer on offshore vessels such as CSV, AHTS, or PSV.
  • Hold a dynamic positioning operators certificate (DPO).
  • Demonstrate winch operating experience, with certification being beneficial.
  • Meet STCW certification requirements for offshore marine operations.
  • Possess GMDSS general operators certificate.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership abilities and create a positive team environment across the vessel.
  • Display resilience, adaptability, and flexibility in managing multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
