Muhling Marine is WA's leading dealership for Evinrude and one of many Suzuki Outboard dealerships in Perth. We have a full dealership for Suzuki Outboards (Sales, Service and Parts) and a service and parts supply for Evinrude Outboards.
About the Role
We're on the lookout for a passionate and knowledgeable Senior Spare Parts Interpreter to join our friendly team. This full-time, long-term role is perfect for someone ready to take the next step in their career, with a clear path to a management position. If you already have management experience, this is an advantage.
Here's what your day might look like:
- Guiding customers from their very first parts enquiry through to making sure they leave with exactly what they need.
- Identifying and sourcing marine parts for our loyal customers and our in-house service team.
- Assisting the Sales team when needed to book in service work.
- Helping us grow—our goal is to expand from a strong statewide presence to supplying marine parts Australia-wide
- Managing inventory so that our customers and team always have what they need, when they need it.
- Preparing, packing, and even delivering parts from time to time, along with processing payments.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience with marine parts, ideally including outboard motors.
- Is confident with phone and online sales.
- Has solid computer skills and great attention to detail.
- Very proficient in marine dealer management systems (DMS) and parts cataloguing software.
- Is organised, self-motivated, and enjoys working both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- Can think on their feet and loves solving problems.
- Holds a current driver's licence.
- Has 3+ years of experience in spare parts interpreting and managing stock.
- Ability to safely lift and handle parts weighing up to 20kg
- We have a forklift on site, a forklift licence is an advantage.
- Can open and shut the business when required.
