Join Our Team as a Clinical Development Coordinator/Education Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Educator to join our team as a Clinical Development Coordinator/Education Manager at Norwest Private Hospital. As a key member of our education team, you will play a critical role in promoting quality clinical outcomes and supporting the delivery of exceptional patient care.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Educator with a passion for patient safety and risk management to join our team. You will work closely with our Director of Nursing and other members of the management team to develop and implement education programs that support clinical and support services education. Your responsibilities will include planning hospital-wide education, coordinating the hospital education team, and reporting area-specific and hospital-wide compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement education programs that support clinical and support services education
  • Coordinate the hospital education team and student programs
  • Report area-specific and hospital-wide compliance
  • Work closely with the Director of Nursing and other members of the management team

Requirements

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Recent relevant and extensive experience in Acute Care setting
  • Recent education experience in an adult learning environment
  • Post-registration clinical and education qualification in a specialty area/education/management
  • Certificate IV-Workplace Training and Assessment
  • Demonstrated effective leadership skills, including highly developed communication, problem-solving, managing people, coaching, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Ability to coordinate, develop, deliver, and evaluate education and training programs using multimodalities
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and the Education evidence/requirements for Short Notice Assessments
