Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator will provide critical support to the Lead Investigator in delivering the milestone activities of the NHMRC MRFF Grant entitled: Koorlangka Keniny: A Music Program to improve the Health and Development of Aboriginal Children and Families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the implementation of the research proposal, in partnership with the Chief Investigator and Investigator team, to achieve the research aims as articulated by the research proposal.
  • Participate in consultation, engagement, recruitment, data collection and translation activities which includes driving to external sites as required.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification and strong subsequent experience OR equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training, or professional accreditation. Higher degree qualification is desirable.
  • Demonstrated project management and organisational skills using a broad range of administrative and management techniques to maximise the effectiveness of project team service delivery. Successful project management completion is essential.
  • Knowledge of University policies and interrelationships between policies and activities would be an advantage.
  • Proven organisational and workload management skills including the ability to prioritise workload to meet strict deadlines. The ability to appreciate and manage resources (human, financial, physical, and environmental).
