Medical Officer - BPT2 Clinical Year

We are seeking medical officers to join our team to complete their BPT2 clinical year at a leading healthcare campus.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for eligible applicants holding General Registration with AHPRA by February 2026 to embark on a 12-month position commencing on 2nd February 2026. The selected candidate will complete a rotation combination including:

  • General Medicine including sub-specialties (based on preferences) - 6 months
  • Geriatrics (GEM@Home) – 3 months
  • Palliative Care/Geriatrics Mercy Albury NSW – 3 months

The program is designed to provide valuable experience and skills to successful applicants.

Eligibility Standards

The eligibility standards to apply are as follows: individuals that fall into the categories below, provided they are eligible for General Medical Registration in Australia:

  • Australian Trained Graduate of a Victorian Medical Faculty.
  • Australian Trained Graduate of an Interstate Medical Faculty.
  • Temporary Resident Medical Graduate of a Victorian Medical Faculty.
  • Temporary Resident Medical Graduate of an Interstate Medical Faculty.
  • Australian Medical Council Graduate (who has obtained Permanent Residency and is completing the requirements for (or currently holds) General Medical Registration in Australia).
  • New Zealand Medical Graduates (Permanent Resident or International full-fee student).
  • International Medical Graduate (Australian Permanent Resident) who will complete 12 months of workplace-based assessment at an Australian hospital.

Successful candidates will be required to demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
