About this Role

We are seeking a reliable and fast-learning individual to join our Operations team in Canberra. As an Asset Inspector Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for booking in assets, assisting with duties, locating, moving and recording asset movements, conducting prestart checks, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Booking in assets by taking photos, entering descriptions and details onto our auction system
  • Assist other team members with their duties when required
  • Locate, move (sometimes using a forklift), and record the movements of all assets
  • Conduct daily prestart forklift checks, weekly detail and maintenance checks, and complete forklift logbooks
  • Load/unload trucks of assets efficiently
  • Maintain a safe work environment and follow health and safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • A valid manual driver's license is essential
  • A sound ability to use an iPad
  • A strong commitment to safety
  • Good attention to detail and communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team as well as independently in a fast-paced environment
