Job Title: Asset Recovery Specialist

The Australian Capital Territory’s prosecution authority is responsible for ensuring justice is served and upholding the law. As an Asset Recovery Specialist, you will play a crucial role in this process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as instructing solicitor in complex Criminal Confiscation of Assets (COCA) litigation as part of a team.
  • Appear as counsel in less complex matters in various courts, particularly in COCA cases.

The successful applicant will have strong legal knowledge and skills, with a minimum of three years' post-admission experience as a lawyer in relevant areas of work.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
  • Be admitted or eligible to practice as a Barrister and/or Solicitor in the ACT.
  • Undergo a criminal record check.
