Job Overview:

We are seeking an Asset Optimization Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing maintenance of fixed and mobile assets, maximizing performance while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to optimize asset availability
  • Conduct regular reviews of current practices and implement improvements to reduce downtime
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure site activities comply with statutory standards and contractual arrangements
  • Lead a team of maintenance staff across all shifts, providing guidance and support to ensure success
  • Ensure use of work permits and development of SWMS by operators and maintenance employees and contractors for non-routine tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, processes, and procedures for all plant and equipment

Requirements:

  • Experience in maintenance supervision/planning, with a focus on optimization
  • Relevant trade qualifications in an engineering or maintenance related discipline (Highly desirable)
  • Knowledge and understanding of maintenance equipment and systems
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines
