Job Overview

The successful candidate will oversee the Sterile Processing Centre, ensuring safe and high-quality sterilization services across campuses. They will lead a strong and engaged team by managing staffing, rostering, recruitment, training, and performance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and compliant processing of reusable medical instruments and equipment.
  • Drive compliance with quality standards, audits, and reporting in line with NSW Health requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-focused outcomes.
  • Champion a positive safety culture while improving processes and driving service excellence.
About You
  • Hold a Certificate III in Sterilisation Services and have a strong knowledge of AS5369:2023 standards.
  • Have hands-on experience supervising teams to ensure safe and compliant processing.
  • Be a skilled leader and people manager with the ability to inspire, support, and develop staff.
  • Possess strong organisational skills with the ability to meet KPIs, manage reporting, and drive service improvements.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to safety, professional development, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold an Australian visa granting work rights necessary for the role.
