Central Sterilising Services Director

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a Central Sterilising Services Department. As a Manager, you will be responsible for managing operational activities and human resources of the department.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a departmental culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, employee retention and development.
- The Sterilisation Manager is accountable for the overall functioning of the Sterilising Services in accordance with National Standards and Quality Standards.
- Provide resource and guidance on Sterilisation practices to deliver a high-quality service to clinical areas.
- Lead and support Sterilisation services to other clinics, units and areas within the hospital.
You will need to have demonstrated knowledge of sterilising processes, ability to monitor and manage work priorities to enable adjustments to workflow as required, leadership and development skills, interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills, management experience in a team-oriented workplace preferred, basic economics, budgeting and accounting principles and practices, excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment and organisational management skills.
