Sterilisation Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the Sterilising Services Department.

This role involves leading and developing a team, managing operations, and providing guidance on sterilisation practices. The ideal candidate will have expertise in a similar field, exceptional leadership skills, and strong interpersonal abilities.

  • Develop a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the department.
  • Provide guidance and resources for sterilisation practices, ensuring a high-quality service to clinical areas.
  • Lead and support sterilisation services across the hospital, including clinics, units, and other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Day-to-Day Operations: Ensure efficient management of sterilisation services, prioritising tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed.
  • Develop and Implement Quality Initiatives: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying areas for growth and implementing strategies to enhance sterilisation practices.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Teams: Work closely with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of sterilisation services.

Requirements:

  • Proven knowledge of sterilising services, with ability to monitor and manage work priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership and development skills, with ability to lead and develop a department and its staff members.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships and coach employees.
