The Sterilising Services Manager is responsible for the overall operational, budgetary responsibilities/activities and human resources of the Central Sterilising Services Department (CSSD). The role involves developing a departmental culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the overall functioning of the Sterilising Services in accordance with National Standards and Quality Standards.
- Resource and guidance of Sterilisation practices to provide a high-quality service to clinical areas.
- Lead and Provide Sterilisation Support to other clinics, units, and areas.
Effective management of priorities and workflow adjustments are essential skills required. Leadership qualities, interpersonal relationship building, and coaching employees are also crucial. The ideal candidate should have experience in process knowledge, leadership, and people management.
An employee-oriented departmental culture prioritizing quality, continuous improvement, employee retention, and development is expected from the successful applicant. High performance and results-driven individuals are sought after for this position.
