Job Title: Research Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our research team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating research activities, collaborating with senior analysts on projects and client requests, and providing in-depth research on industry and company themes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior analysts on specific research projects, utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality results.
  • Collect and compile data for clients' requests, maintaining accurate records and adhering to deadlines.
  • Develop and update financial models, leveraging expertise in finance and accounting.
  • Maintain databases of economic and industry-specific data, ensuring up-to-date information and easy access.
  • Accompany clients on visits, producing detailed notes and reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, clients, government agencies, and industry organizations, fostering collaborative partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a business-related field, preferably with finance or accounting majors.
  • 2-5 years' experience as a research associate, or equivalent experience in investment banking, accounting, or wealth management.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
