The role of a Community Disability Support Worker involves providing daily living support to customers in their homes, assisting with hygiene and personal care, and accompanying them on activities outside the home environment.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting customers with daily living tasks
- Providing assistance with hygiene and personal care
- Accompanying customers on activities outside the home environment
- Assisting with medication compliance
- Meal assistance
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support
- At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
- NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
