Director of Sales Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sales to join our team at Accor Apartments & Realty. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales performance across our hotels in Queensland and Northern Territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tailored sales strategies to drive revenue growth and exceed targets across all market segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, including Pacific, Central Sales, Hotel Sales, and Account Managers, to drive leads and foster growth.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships to deliver commercial returns for Accor.
  • Collaborate with hotel and regional teams to coordinate high-impact sales calls, presentations, inspections, trade shows, and familiarisation events.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by identifying new commercial opportunities and gathering vital market intelligence.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of property offerings, including conference and F&B facilities, and Accor's wide range of services.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior hotel sales role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and inspire them to achieve exceptional results.
  • In-depth knowledge of key hotel market segments and the ability to stay ahead of industry trends.
