We are seeking a highly skilled Audio Designer to join our team at Gameloft Brisbane. As an Audio Designer, you will collaborate closely with our Audio Lead and other teams within the Creation Department to design and integrate a fully immersive soundscape for an upcoming cross-platform title.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create unique sound effects by recording Foley using sound libraries and creative sound design techniques.
  • Integrate sounds into the game using audio middleware, game engines, and audio technical design skills.
  • Contribute ideas to establish the game's sound identity.
  • Collaborate with composers, mixers, and team members for a cohesive audio experience.
  • Communicate regularly with the audio and production teams involved in the project.
Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Sound Design within the video game industry.
  • A robust portfolio showcasing your work.
  • The ability to create and understand sound environments for video games.
  • Extensive knowledge of audio software (Pro Tools, REAPER, Ableton) and tools like Confluence and JIRA.
  • Understanding of technical limitations in audio optimization and formats used in gaming.
  • Proficiency in audio and game engines (Wwise, Unreal).
  • Skill in recording sound effects and utilizing sound libraries to create unique original sound design.
  • Good knowledge and familiarity with available sound effect libraries on the market.
  • Capability of managing large sound databases clearly and logically.
  • A team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
