About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Professional to join our team in Toowoomba. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales of John Deere construction equipment in Toowoomba and South West Queensland. This is a key Sales role with significant responsibility and endless opportunity for career progression.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively prospect and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining our current customer base.
  • Positively and effectively promote John Deere construction equipment, parts, and service, focusing on solutions for customers and building long-term relationships to maximize client and company profitability.
  • Coordinate and support field demonstrations at customer work sites.
  • Develop a keen awareness of the competition and competitive products, as well as business and industry trends.
  • Use Company-provided systems/tools to fully document, track, record, follow-up, and capture all related sales activity in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work in conjunction with Sales Manager and relevant Departments, responsible for follow-up and expediting of whole good orders.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of previous sales experience (essential), ideally in either earthmoving or construction equipment.
  • An inquisitive mindset with a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Suite, CRM, and sales software systems.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to seek sales opportunities.
  • Professional presentation.
