Amplar Health Home Hospital delivers SA Health's My Home Hospital (MHH) service, nationally accredited to the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards. Our team has successfully delivered care to over 210,000 patients, showcasing patient experience improvements, reducing emergency department visits, and developing innovative models of care.
About This Role
Work from our Virtual Care Centre in Eastwood, South Australia, on a full-time or part-time fixed-term basis. You will participate in a 7-day rolling roster, working 8-hour shifts between 7am and 10pm.
You will contribute to virtual health initiatives by exercising clinical diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and ongoing management of acute conditions. A combination of virtual and in-person face-to-face care is expected as part of an interprofessional team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage acute presentations in the community for conditions such as cellulitis, community-acquired pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, VTE, and complicated UTI.
- Collaborate with a broad multi-disciplinary team to support holistic patient-centered care.
- Participate in professional development and mentoring opportunities.
