Virtual Care Specialist

The Virtual Clinical Care Centre provides comprehensive secondary triage and referral services, enhancing the patient journey through the healthcare system. The centre supports NSW Ambulance Control Centres with emergency resource management, ensuring timely and effective care.

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to perform secondary triage after the initial 000 call has been completed. The selected candidates will refer patients to established healthcare pathways, escalate care when necessary, or notify the relevant Control Centre.

The Virtual Clinical Care Centre is a multidisciplinary workforce delivering virtual care to patients across NSW. Our team includes Registered Nurses and Paramedic Specialists with Extended Care and/or Intensive Care qualifications.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong critical thinking skills, evidence-based practice, and individualized person-centered care. You should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and provide high-quality patient care.
