Opportunity Overview
We are currently seeking a qualified accountant to enhance our Corporate Finance team. This role is pivotal in identifying and implementing process improvements, optimizing finance operations, and strengthening controls to mitigate risks. Our organization is dedicated to continuous enhancement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial reports using OneStream and Anaplan
- Management of month-end closing processes
- Assistance in the accuracy of weekly group cash flow forecasts
- Support in the consolidation of monthly results within the OneStream system
- Oversight of lease reporting in compliance with AASB 16
- Participation in year-end closing activities
- Review and validation of the fixed assets register for tangible and intangible assets
- Annual financial reporting for QBCC and monthly monitoring of financial ratios
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (CA or CPA) with a solid background in finance and accounting. Experience with Big Four firms is highly valued. Proficiency in financial systems and ERPs such as SAP, OneStream, and Anaplan, along with intermediate to advanced Excel skills, is essential. A strong understanding of IFRS 15 and 16 is required. Additionally, exceptional relationship-building and business partnering skills, coupled with a focus on continuous improvement, are crucial for success in this role.
